Privacy Policy
Last updated September 29, 2026
LifePointe Church respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, please ask us — we would rather explain it than have you guess.
No tracking on this site
We want to be plain about this, because it is unusual: this website runs no analytics and sets no tracking cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and no session recording. We do not build a profile of you, and we have no cookie banner because there is nothing to ask you to consent to.
Information you give us
We only receive what you choose to send us through a form or by contacting us directly:
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and your message.
- Prayer request form: your name, email address, how you would like to be contacted, and your request.
We use this to reply to you, to follow up about the church, and to pray for what you have asked us to pray for. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone outside the church for marketing.
Prayer requests
Prayer requests often contain personal things — health, family, work, grief. We treat them that way. Requests are received by the church's pastoral and prayer team and are used only so that we can pray with you and follow up if you asked us to. They are not published on the website or on social media.
If you would like your request kept between you and the pastor only, please say so in the request itself and we will honour that.
Giving
Online giving is handled by our giving provider, not by this website. We never see or store your full card or bank details. Their own privacy policy governs how they handle that information.
Embedded maps
Our Visit and Contact pages include a Google Map so you can find us. That map is loaded from Google, and Google may set its own cookies when it loads. That is the only third-party content on this site that does so. If you would rather not load it, our address is written out in plain text on both pages and in the footer.
How we share information
We share information only with the service providers who make the website and our email work, and only as far as needed to deliver your message to us. We may also disclose information where required by law, or where we believe it is necessary to protect someone's safety. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
Messages and prayer requests are kept as long as needed to respond and to care for you pastorally. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, including the right not to be treated differently for exercising them. Since we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, there is nothing to opt out of on that front.
Children's privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. Registration for children's and youth ministry activities is handled in person or through a parent or guardian.
Security
This site is served over encrypted HTTPS and we use reasonable safeguards to protect what you send us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Links to other sites
We link to other organizations and to our giving and streaming providers. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page as our practices change. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
